Rev. Robert William DeLauney, of Hagerstown, MD passed away February 24, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center. Robert was born May 25, 1967 to the late Charles Willard and Martha Juanita (Dill) DeLauney. Robert graduated from South Hagerstown High School, class of 1985, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Shepherd College and Masters in Christian Education from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK. He also attended the Assembly of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri.

Robert was a member of The Tribe of Judah Word Ministry, Boonsboro, Md. Music was a big part of his life, as he played trumpet, coronet, French horn, and also enjoyed reading.
He was a founding member of the Shepherd College Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America and enjoyed watching Drum and Bugle Corps shows. He worked for many years at Citicorp and First Data.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Graser.
Robert is survived by his son, Nicholas Robert DeLauney (Lourdes) of Wilmington DE, his sister Linda J. Sellman and her husband Gary, of Hagerstown, MD, niece Anissa Quiroz and nephews Christopher Graser and Aaron Sellman. Robert is also survived by his dear friend and former spouse, Christie J. DeLauney.
Relatives and friends are invited to Harman Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD, 21740 for a visitation on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, followed by a funeral service on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Donald Kretzer to officiate. Burial private and at the convenience of the family.
