Wanda Elizabeth (Tasker) Watts, 77, of Waynesboro, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Born October 27, 1942 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late William H. Tasker, Jr. and late Minnie Elizabeth (Miller) Tasker Peyton. She attended school in the Fayetteville and Chambersburg area. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Waynesboro. Her employment included Regency Thermographers Printing Co., Frick Manufacturing, and AMP, Inc where she retired. Soon after retiring she returned to work at San-Mar Children’s Home in Boonsboro, MD. Wanda’s care and concern for people stretched beyond her family, she encouraged and counseled a diverse number of people everywhere that the Lord lead her, and she will be missed for that. She loved the Lord and sharing Him with everyone she encountered so that they may experience His grace through a relation with Her Lord and Savior. She is proceeded in death by her late husband Melvin E. Watts, one daughter Dedra R. Watts, one son William E. Watts all of Waynesboro, and one brother Rodney Tasker. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl D. Watts of Waynesboro, 3 grandchildren, Nichelle and Taylor Watts both of Waynesboro, and Cory Young of East Stroudsburg, PA. Also, three sisters, Donna Washington (husband Granville), Fayetteville, PA, Kay Brown of Harrisburg, PA, and Selina Lowe of Orlando, FL and three brothers, Larry Tasker (wife Jeannie) of Chambersburg, PA, Perry Tasker (wife Robin) of Gettysburg, PA and Tracey Peyton of Fayetteville, PA. A host of nieces and nephews as well as her extended family which includes Gonzales’s, Marianne Simmons, and the Owen’s. A grave-side Service for the immediate family will be held on Monday, 20 April 2020. A memorial service will be held later. Harman Funeral Home will be handling the Services.
